Willow Springs is a semi-private, 18 hole Golf Course and Country Club. With 6641 total yards from the blue tees to the greens and 4836 total yards from the red tees, players at any skill level can enjoy golf in a beautiful and charming atmosphere. 

 

Established 1915, Willow Springs is one of the oldest courses on the eastern coast. The layout and design is based on a Donald Ross course and greens were designed by Ellis Maples. The fairways are lined with award winning hardwoods and pines and are considerably flat, making it easy for walkers. 

 

Our club professional, Jimmy Gurkin, is a Class A Lifetime member of the PGA, has over 40 years of golf professional experience. Jimmy is also a graduate of Campbell University and a lifetime Hall of Fame inductee. He and his wife Paula, have owned and operated Willow Springs since 1989. They reside in Wilson, NC and have two daughters and five grandchildren.

Ladies, Men's and Senior Golf

As members of the Ladies Golf Association (LGA), Willow Springs has approximately 50 ladies who participate in golf activities. WSCC hosts summer clinics and ladies tournaments such as: 4-lady Superball, Member-Guest, Jack & Jill and Couple's Golf. Many of the ladies participate in three different golfing leagues and meet on Tuesdays for Ladies' Play Day. After the first of the year, there will be a listing of upcoming womens events and tournaments posted on our calendar page.

 

WSCC has a variety of tournaments available to men such as: Club Championship, Member-Guest, Beat the Pro, Jack & Jill, Couple's Tournament and many more.  We also are the home of approximately 50 Seniors who participate in weekly and monthly golf activities. Seniors may receive a discount on Mondays under the Senior Play Special.
